The Australian U19 Men’s team, Junior Steelers, are ranked top 5 in the world and possess a proud and rich history which began in 1993 where they first competed at the ISF Junior Men’s World Championship. Formerly known as the Aussie Colts, since 1993 the Junior Steelers have become arguably the most successful team in the junior men’s competition, going on to win 4 consecutive gold medals spanning from 1997 to 2008. Junior Steelers is a stepping stone to the Open Men’s program and has produced world-class players who have progressed to the Aussie Steelers team and were influential in the 2009 Men’s World Championship win.
