Events Coordinator
This full-time position entails managing the delivery of all aspects of Softball Australia’s events program. This includes National Championships, domestic competitions featuring our national teams, and other major events delivered from the head office.
You’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the sport, from state and territory hosts to volunteers, sponsors, and officials. This is a great opportunity for someone with events experience who is ready to take the next step in their sporting administration career.

Operations and Game Development Coordinator - ACT
Reporting to the Territory Operations Manager - ACT Softball, you will:
- Coordinate and deliver school-based programs to attract and retain participants.
- Build strong partnerships with schools, clubs, and community groups.
- Plan and manage junior and social competitions, ensuring smooth operations from scheduling to registration.
- Supervise casual staff, coaches, and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs.
- Maintain and report on the member database, supporting strong governance and accurate records.
- Assist with office administration, event delivery, and basic finance tasks.
This role is hands-on and varied - one day you might be at a school clinic introducing kids to the game, the next managing competition draws or supporting a national championship event at Hawker International Softball Centre.

Regional Manager - NT Softball
Reporting to the General Manager - Corporate Services, the Regional Manager will:
- Lead participation, membership growth and program delivery across the NT.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with the NT Government, schools, clubs, and volunteers.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Softball NT including finance, staff, contractors and volunteers.
- Support the Softball NT Board with governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive marketing, events, and risk management initiatives to ensure softball remains safe, inclusive and thriving across the Territory.
This is a key leadership role, with responsibility for growing the game while maintaining a positive culture of support, challenge and collaboration.
