revolutioniseSPORT next steps

Softball Australia is pleased to report Clubs and Associations who have been utilising the new membership database platform, revolutioniseSPORT, have managed their competitions and members effectively in the ‘Early Adopters’ phase.

Following the success of the systems initial testing phase, Softball Australia will now progress to inviting all remaining Clubs, Associations and Member States/Territories to begin comprehensive training sessions with revolutioniseSPORT on administering their competitions.

Immediate steps for Clubs and Associations

In the interim, Clubs and Associations have a number of tasks to complete while preparing to complete the transition to revolutioniseSPORT.

  1. Clubs and Associations MUST have an ABN so they can access Pin Payments, the online payments system integrated with revolutioniseSPORT. Benefits and more details on an ABN are available here
  2. Provide onboarding data to their relevant Member State/Territory – Member States/Territories should have already requested this information, if Clubs and Associations haven’t been contacted, they should alert their relevant Member State/Territory
  3. Club and Association administrators (and others from the Club/Association interested) must select which of the sessions in the above timetable they would like to attend and mark them down. Details on how to attend will be sent closer to the sessions.

More information on this next phase of the revolutioniseSPORT rollout will be sent in the coming days.

The below timeline outlines multiple sessions to provided Club and Association administrators the best possible opportunity to attend the mandatory webinars.

Key points on the timeline include:

  • All times indicated are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
  • Every Club and Association must attend an “Intro to revolutioniseSPORT” training session (this is mandatory). There will be three zoom sessions in late April/early May to choose from. Invitations will be sent out in the coming days
  • This training will be supplemented by recorded webinar material, online help in revolutioniseSport, regular updates of the FAQ document and a simple to understand set of instructions developed by Softball Australia and revolutioniseSPORT
  • Each Club and Association will have access to three refresher/key features training sessions in August (at the time summer registrations are occurring)
  • There will be weekly feedback/Q&A sessions on Zoom that Clubs and Associations will be able to attend after the initial training is completed (these will be optional)
  • Additional resources & support (including Softball Australia Interns to assist load website content & Member State/Territory Super Users) will be made available to Clubs and Associations.
