USA, Mexico and China Book World Cup Finals Tickets

The road to the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027 is now complete, with the United States, Mexico and China punching their tickets for next year's global showpiece in Redcliffe, Queensland. 

World No.2 USA and World No. 7 Mexico claimed the two qualification places on offer in Oklahoma City, while World No.8 China’s third-place finish secured the second Wild Card and the final place in the eight-team Finals field. 

USA was the first team to book its ticket to Redcliffe, defeating World No. 8 China 7-0 in six innings. Mexico then secured the second direct qualification place after an 8-6 victory over China in the deciding game. 

Despite the defeat, China’s third-place finish in Oklahoma City was enough to seure the final Wild Card and a place in Redcliffe. 

The results complete the eight-team field, with USA, Mexico and China joining Australia, Canada, Japan, Puerto Rico and Chinese Taipei at the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027.  

The WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027 will be held in Redcliffe, Queensland from Monday 5 – Saturday 10 April 2027, bringing eight of the world’s leading softball nations together to compete for the title of World Champion.

With the eight-team field now confirmed, fans can secure their seats when tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday 8 October at 1:00pm AEST via Ticketek.
