Travelodge Aussie Spirit Team Announced for Canada Cup and World Games Tour

Published Tue 10 May 2022

Softball Australia is pleased to announce the athletes that will represent the Travelodge Aussie Spirit at the Canada Cup and World Games in June and July this year.

Players for the Travelodge Aussie Spirit Team have been chosen from both the Travelodge Aussie Spirit and Spirit Development Squads announced yesterday.

Softball Australia National Head Coach Laing Harrow said, “While this team has a few new faces that will represent the Travelodge Aussie Spirit for the first time, it also features many players who have extensive international experience coming off the Olympics.

“It’s an exciting time for our Travelodge Aussie Spirit program. We are capitalising on the recent form of these athletes and moving back into international competition. The Canada Cup will be our first international event post-Olympics, and the World Games features eight of the top-10 ranked nations in the world, so these events will be a true test for our elite level athletes.”
