Softball Australia Welcomes New Board Chair Tiffany Allen

Softball Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Allen as its new Board Chair, effective Saturday, 28 June 2025.
Tiffany brings a wealth of experience to the role, having joined the Softball Australia Board in July 2024. With over 30 years working across both Federal and State Government, Tiffany’s background includes extensive expertise in policy setting, strategic planning, governance, risk, and integrity. Her leadership credentials are equally matched by her deep connection to the sport of softball.
A passionate lifelong contributor to the game, Tiffany has played softball for over 30 years and has been an active member of local clubs and associations. She has helped organise and run community carnivals for more than a decade, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to grassroots development.
Tiffany also brings significant board experience, having served six years on the Board of Softball Western Australia, including two years as Deputy Chair and two years as Chairperson. Her strategic insight and strong governance background make her a natural choice to lead Softball Australia into its next chapter.
Tiffany succeeds Richard Lindell, who has served as Chair since 2021 Richard joined the Board in 2018 and brought with him extensive experience in media, journalism, and corporate leadership. His time as Chair has been marked by strong communication strategies and a focus on engagement and growth.
Softball Australia extends its sincere thanks to Richard for his dedicated service as Chair and is pleased that he will continue to contribute as a valued Board Member. His continued involvement will ensure a smooth transition and ongoing strength in leadership as the sport continues to grow nationwide.
