Softball Australia Announces Three-Year Partnership with Eckersley Print Group
Published Tue 21 Jul 2026
Softball Australia is proud to announce a three-year partnership with Eckersley Print Group (EPG), naming the company as an Official Sponsor of the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals 2027 and Preferred Print Partner of Softball Australia.
The partnership represents another significant commitment to working with local businesses in delivering a world-class event for the City of Moreton Bay community.
A family-owned business operating in the City of Moreton Bay for over 50 years, Eckersley Print Group will provide event signage for the World Cup Finals and has committed to utilising its growing apprenticeship and trainee programs in delivering these services. The initiative will provide young local workers with the unique opportunity to contribute to a major international sporting event on home soil.
Softball Australia CEO Sarah Loh welcomed the partnership as a reflection of the organisation's commitment to sustainability and community impact.
"We are thrilled to partner with Eckersley Print Group, a business that shares our values around sustainability, local engagement, and creating opportunities for the next generation," Sarah Loh said.
"This three-year partnership extends well beyond the World Cup, and we look forward to building a lasting relationship with EPG and the Moreton Bay community."
Eckersley Print Group has earned national recognition for its environmental leadership, receiving the National Environmental Sustainability Award at the 2025 National Print Awards. As a participant in the City of Moreton Bay's Aspire circular economy program, EPG integrates sustainable practices across its entire operation—from ethical sourcing and production through to packaging, distribution, and waste minimisation.
Eckersley Print Group Director Luke Eckersley said the partnership was a proud moment for the business.
"Supporting the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals 2027 is a tremendous honour for our team," Eckersley said.
"We're particularly excited to involve our apprentices in this project, giving them hands-on experience at an international event right here in our local community. This partnership reflects everything we stand for—sustainability, local investment, and creating meaningful opportunities."
The WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals 2027 will bring together the world's best softball nations to compete in the City of Moreton Bay in April 2027. Fans can register for ticket updates via Softball Australia.
