National Pathway Coaching Update

Softball Australia is excited to announce the appointment of Head Coaches for the Women’s Pathway program, a key part of our national development strategy. These coaches will play a vital role in guiding emerging talent and shaping the future of women’s softball in Australia. 

Women’s Pathway Head Coach Appointments: 

  • U14 Girls – Leigh Martyn (QLD) 

  • U16 Girls – Amanda Fairley (SA) 

  • U18 Women – Leigh Godfrey (WA) 

  • U23 WomenNeridah Wearne (NSW) 

These appointments reflect a strong commitment to building a high-performance environment across all levels of the game. 

Men’s Pathway & Steelers Head Coach Update 

Softball Australia has identified strong candidates for the Men’s Pathway program. With the Steelers Head Coach role set to be advertised next week, final pathway appointments will follow to ensure alignment across the program. 

Further updates will be shared in the coming weeks as we continue to strengthen our national coaching framework.
