Financial support now available for flood-affected sporting clubs

Financial support is now available for flood-affected sporting clubs and organisations in New South Wales and Queensland.
Emergency funding is being jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
The funding will assist sporting clubs to repair damaged infrastructure and replace lost equipment, with the recovery of local sporting organisations integral to the recovery of flood affected communities.
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority have announced funding of up to $20,000 for sport and community clubs and associations, while the NSW Government have announced grants of up to $50,000 for not-for-profit organisations.
