Catch the Tokyo action and #HaveAGo at Softball!

Experience the Tokyo 2020 Olympics live with softball events happening across the country during the Aussie Spirit’s Olympic fixtures.

The Aussie Spirit begin their Olympic campaign against host nation Japan in Fukushima bright and early 10:00am AEST, with a raft of family, friends and fans glued to the Channels of 7 cheering on the girls from afar.

Over the course of the fixtures, softball’s governing bodies will have a presence across the country combining the on-screen action with the Australian Olympic Committee’s #HaveAGo participation campaign, all free to attend.

In the nation’s capital, Softball ACT are having a party! Both weekend games from 24-25 July will be celebrated with jumping castles, face painting, softball introduction drills capped off with a home-run derby for juniors, all cheering on hometown hero Clare Warwick.

Softball Queensland will be at the Official Olympics Live Site taking part in the celebration of the Tokyo 2020 Games and showcasing softball along with a number of other sports, all while the action plays on the big screen

Softball South Australia will cheer on the Aussie Spirit across three games, kicking things off with a special visit to Seaton High School for the blockbuster opener before it’s back to HQ with another event booked for Torrens Arms, which is sure to be filled with Belinda White fans.

Softball Victoria have a number of celebrations planned across Melbourne, ready to introduce the sport to a new audience and provide a great opportunity for current members to get behind their Aussie Spirit.

On July 24 Northern District Softball Association will showcase first class pitching on the big screen, and on the diamond with three-time Olympian Brooke Wilkins running a pitching clinic for both beginners and aspiring pitchers.

Casey Softball Association, Waverly Softball Association and Melbourne Softball Association all also getting in on the action across the first weekend of the Olympics.

Out West, Softball WA are looking for their newest Leah Parry, Leigh Godfrey or Chelsea Forkin hosting a #HaveAGo Day following the Canada match up on 24 July, nice and early at 9:00am local time, the perfect way to kick off the weekend!
