On day three of the tournament, Australia A demonstrated tremendous resolve but fell short in a hard-fought 3-8 loss against TC Colorado. Despite the outcome, Australia A showcased their determination by scoring three runs against a team that had previously allowed only one run in their prior matches. TC Colorado, who remains undefeated in the standings, proved to be highly efficient with their batting, capitalising on nine hits to register eight runs for the game.

After conceding one run to TC Colorado in the first inning, Australia A faced a challenging third inning as their opponents produced five runs from four hits, significantly impacting the game's outcome. Australia A staged a comeback attempt in the top of the fifth, with Hirari Kurihara, Neve Adams, and Caitlin Laird driving in runs. However, TC Colorado responded quickly, countering with two runs in their own fifth frame.

Australia A will once again draw upon their resilience and determination as they prepare to face Mexico in their upcoming match. The team remains focused on showcasing their skills, learning from each game, and continuing to grow throughout the tournament.

Australia's Under-19 team delivered a dominant performance against the White Rock Renegades 04, securing a resounding 7-0 victory. The Aussies wasted no time, taking an early lead in the first inning through a groundout ball by Matilda Newman, resulting in Angelique Iredale scoring the opening run. Iredale proved to be a standout performer, showcasing her batting skills by contributing two runs from two hits and recording one RBI.

The highlight of the day came when Ineke Keed blasted a home run to left field, scoring Australia U-19 a three-run surge in the bottom of the third inning, further solidifying their lead. The shutout victory was made possible by the excellent pitching efforts of Harper Bridley and Mikayla Jankovic. Bridley delivered an impressive performance, not conceding any hits and tallying one strikeout across three innings. Jankovic came into the game in the fourth inning and proceeded to allow only one hit and accumulated three strikeouts, showcasing her pitching ability across two innings.

With this win, Australia U19 maintains their unbeaten streak, demonstrating their strength, skill, and determination throughout the tournament. The team's cohesive performance and unwavering focus have been instrumental in their continued success.

Game SG-52: Australia U-17 vs Snohomish Shock 16U 4:30AM AEST

Australia's Under-17 softball team showcased spirit as they rebounded from their first defeat, securing an impressive 4-1 victory against Snohomish Shock 16U. The game remained tightly contested through to the fourth inning, with the scores tied at 1-1. However, Australia U-17 released an offensive surge in the bottom of the fifth inning, with RBIs from Maya Gillies and Milla Durnell, along with a wild pitch that allowed three runs to be scored.

The young Aussies not only excelled offensively but also demonstrated their defensive abilities, with impressive fielding skills on full display, limiting Snohomish to just one run on 10 hits throughout the game. From the pitcher’s mound, Charlize Aplitt delivered a solid performance with one strikeout and no walks. Bridie Nicol and Markayla Butler provided valuable relief innings, shutting down Snohomish's offense, Butler particularly registering three strikeouts during her appearance.

The win showcases Australia U17's ability to bounce back and maintain composure in the face of adversity. Their strong defensive display and teamwork contributing to a well-deserved victory.
