Softball Australia is thrilled to unveil the roster for the U-19 Women's Squad for 2024. Comprising of players born in the years 2005, 2006, 2007, (2008 by exception), this talented group of athletes represents the future of Australian Women’s Softball.

As outlined in our recent High-Performance and Pathways update, the U19 women’s program embodies a comprehensive year-round development initiative. Designed to foster skill enhancement and team cohesion, the program features three intensive training camps, tailored individualized training plans encompassing strength and conditioning, and technical programs. 

The squad will get their first chance to train and compete together in the upcoming camp, coinciding with the recently announced Aussie Spirit camp and series against the Chinese Taipei National Women’s Team. This joint camp offers a unique opportunity for the U19 squad to train alongside elite athletes and engage in high-level competitions. Among the highlights of the camp are intersquad games, a matchup against the Chinese Taipei senior national women’s team, and specialized technical and game scenario training sessions. 

Following this camp, the team set to represent Australia at the U-18 Women’s World Cup Group Stage in Dallas, USA will be selected from this squad. This pivotal event serves as a platform for our rising stars to showcase their skills on the global stage and continue Australia’s proud tradition of excellence in softball.
