Victoria have found the difference in the seventh to overcome a resilient 89ers team.

The two teams were evenly matched for much of the game, with VIC’s ability to find hits the biggest difference.

As the seventh began with VIC leading the ACT by a single run, it looked inevitable that we would be heading to another extended game, as the ACT have become so familiar to.

But a big break came in the seventh for VIC, which saw Henry Mullan and Adam Talarico hit back-to-back home runs to bring in four runs and secure the win.
