Softball Australia launches new Learning Centre

Softball Australia is pleased to announce the launch of the new Softball Australia Learning Centre, providing a dedicated online learning destination to support the development of softball members across Australia.

The new Learning Centre will provide a central location for education and development opportunities, making it easier for members to access learning, build their knowledge, and develop the skills that support their involvement in the sport.

The Learning Centre is being introduced through a phased approach, enabling Softball Australia to progressively enhance the learning experience and expand the opportunities available to members.

Easier access through your Softball Australia member account

The initial roll out focuses on giving Softball Australia members simple access to existing Learning Centre courses through single sign-on. Members can use their existing Softball Australia member login details, removing the need for a separate Learning Centre username and password.

How to access the Learning Centre

1.     Visit www.softball.org.au/myaccount

2.     Log in using your existing Softball Australia member login details.

3.     Click on the Softball Australia Learning Centre tile.

4.     Explore the available courses and start learning.

This improved access provides a simpler and more connected experience for members and establishes the foundation of the Learning Centre.

The launch of the Softball Australia Learning Centre is just the beginning. Softball Australia will continue to develop and transition coach, umpire and scorer education to the Learning Centre and expand the education and development opportunities available to the softball community.

The Learning Centre will play an important role in supporting the people who make our sport possible, including coaches, officials, volunteers, administrators and other members of the softball workforce.

By providing accessible and relevant learning opportunities, Softball Australia aims to build the knowledge, skills and confidence of our members and support the delivery of safe, welcoming and high-quality softball experiences across Australia.

Learning Centre Frequently Asked Questions

1. I do not remember my username and password? Click on Forgot login details to reset your details. This will give you the option to either request a password reset (if you remember your username), or enter your email address to recover your username.
2. I am unable to log in to my member account or reset my password? Ensure you have renewed your membership for the current season with your Club/Association. Once that has been confirmed, you should be able to reset your details using the steps above.
3. I have previously been a member of a softball club but are not currently active with a club/association? The Softball Australia Learning Centre is only available to current members. To maintain existing accreditations, you also need to be a member. Consider re-engaging with your local club/association.  If you feel this is not an option for you, please contact us via the Contact us - Softball Australia form and select Softball Learning Centre from the list of topics and one of our team will reach out to you with your options. 
4. I am a teacher or work as a coach for a private provider, have not previously been a member of Softball Australia and wish to access the Softball Australia Learning Centre? Please contact us via the Contact us - Softball Australia form and select Softball Learning Centre from the list of topics and one of our team will reach out to you with your options. 
5. I have an existing Australian Sports Learning Centre account that has not been transitioned to the Softball Australia Learning Centre. Is this possible? As part of the implementation, the Learning Centre attempted to match exisiting users to members from the last 3 seasons. It may be that they have been unable to match records due to differences in the name or email address on the accounts, or you have not been a current member in the period we migrated. Please contact us via the Contact us - Softball Australia form and select Softball Learning Centre from the list of topics and one of our team will reach out to you with your options. Please include any current and previous names and the email address you are registered to the Australian Sports Learning Centre  to assist in matching your account. 
6. I have updated my details in my membership portal but it is not showing in the Learning Centre?  If your email address has been updated in the membership portal but this change is not showing on the Learning Centre, it is s likely due to a duplicate account in the Learning Centre which is preventing the account from being updated. Please contact us via the Contact us - Softball Australia form and select Softball Learning Centre from the list of topics. You will need to provide us with your Softball ID, current and previous email address and we will contact the Learning Centre Support team for assistance on your behalf.
