Softball SA’s 65th State Championships celebrations to be streamed live

Softball SA are set to host their 65th Senior State Championships with some of the action streamed on Facebook starting this Friday 22 January.

The 65th edition of the championships will feature A, B and C Grade Women’s and A and B Grade Men’s tournaments with winners crowned on Sunday 24 January at West Beach.

Along with the State tournament action, Softball SA will host the 10th Emmsee Sportswear Home Run Derby followed by two Fully Loaded Softball All-Star games featuring South Australia’s best from the Men’s and Women’s side of the game.

Beginning from 7:00pm local time, on Saturday night, the Emmsee Sportswear Home Run Derby and both All-Star games will be livestreamed through Softball SA’s Facebook page.

“After the disruption to all events in the state since March and the National Championships across the country this summer, we’re really excited to be getting action underway at our state championships” said James Harris, Chief Executive Officer at Softball SA.

“Our thanks to Spacequake Sports, Emmsee Sportswear, Chilly Billy Mobile Cool Rooms and Leading Teams for their support for the championships, we look forward to seeing who comes out on top this Sunday.”

Entry to West Beach is free for spectators all weekend with games beginning at 6:30pm Friday.

Both A Grade Men and Women Finals will be livestreamed by Spacequake Sports.
