The last round robin game saw Victoria take on WA in an extremely close and intense match. WA started strongly with a 2 run lead, however Victoria fought back to win 3-2 knocking WA out of finals contention.

After a short break, four teams were raring to get into the thick of it – first round of finals. The two games were as expected; tight contests with plenty of hustle that kept the crowd excited and on the edge of their seats. NSW knocked off Queensland 3-1 to go straight into Saturday’s Grand Final. The last game saw Victoria and SA battle it out for a place in tomorrow’s Preliminary Final play-off. In a game, which Victoria trailed for the majority, a stirring last innings saw them cut down a 3 run deficit to lead by 1 going into the bottom of the 7th. A strong defensive inning saw them set a date with Queensland.
