Biography
Josh has been playing softball since a young age, with his family having a strong involvement in the game. Older sister Brianna was selected in the Australian Open Women’s Squad in 2015, whilst father Lindsey coached the Australian U19 Men’s team to world championship success in 2001 and 2005.
Josh represented Australia at junior level at the 2014 Junior Men’s World Championship, and again in 2016, where he was named captain of the team.
Throughout his career at state and national level, Josh has played a number of positions, including catcher, 3rd base and shortstop.
He will make his debut for the Aussie Steelers at the 2017 WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship and at 20 years of age will be the youngest member of the team.
