Rain affects start to U15 Regional Championship
10 July 2012
The 2012 Australian U15 Regional Championship has had a challenging opening day with persistent rain playing havoc with day one games.
All games were moved to the grass diamonds at Kele Park in Rockhampton with just a slight delay to the first timeslot. Rockhampton Ground Crew have done a fantastic job to keep the games scheduled, but unfortunately after a day of rain the fields started to take full effect, forcing organises to postpone the final timeslot of games.
A new draw for day two has been completed. The Tournament Management Committee will continue to monitor the draw throughout day 2 for the remainder of the Championship.
