The staff, Board and members of Softball Australia would like to take this opportunity to wish you the best of luck as you embark on your campaign for the 2011 IX ISF Junior Women’s World Championship in South Africa.
We recognise and appreciate all your hard work in preparing for this Championship. We know all of you have made personal sacrifices and have overcome many challenges to cement your place as an important member of the Aussie Pride team. Your preparation and hard work should stand you in good stead over the next few weeks as you take on the world’s best junior Softballers in Cape Town.
We are confident you will continue the tradition of the successful Australian Teams of the past, which have positioned Australia as one of the world’s top-ranked and most respected Softball nations. The Australian Softball community will be following your progress with great interest and enthusiasm.
Your exposure to the lifestyle and culture of South Africa will provide you with an unforgettable experience. You will make many new friends, some of whom will become an important part of your life thoughout your Softball career and when you eventually move on to other things. Many of you have elected to take time to travel around South Africa upon completion of the Championship – stay safe, enjoy this great opportunity to see an amazing country and bring back lots of great memories of your time in South Africa.
Again, we wish you the best of luck during the Championship, and look forward to following your progress and to your safe return.
On behalf of the Softball Australia Board and the staff we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...
