Diamonds set for globetrotting Tours in 2020

Up and coming softballers in Australia will have the opportunity to compete all over the world in 2020 with a total of nine teams to be selected in tournaments both at home and abroad.

The Aussie Diamonds Pathway Tours are designed to provide an insight into what keen softballers aged from 12 to 19 can expect on a regular basis should they choose to pursue their softball careers and in 2020 a number of opportunities exist for the next generation of Aussie Steelers and Aussie Spirit Stars.

New Zealand and the United States of America are on the schedule for next year, as well as four teams selected for the International Friendship Series on home soil.

Vancouver will host one Junior Female Futures team from Australia to compete in the Canada Cup from 4-14 July, just weeks before softball’s return to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Softball Australia’s travel partner SportsLink International will again ensure the players are well looked after for all their travel and accommodation needs.
